THE REASONING

Make the layout work for your room.

01

Start with the working position

The desk sits near the illustrated window. Check screen glare and the position of power outlets in your real room before choosing this orientation. Resize the desk to the full worktop dimensions, including any projecting legs.

02

Allow the chair to move

The task chair is placed behind the desk. Leave space to pull it back and stand up, then check the route from the entry to the reading seat. The fit checker can flag overlaps, but it does not certify an uninterrupted walking route.

03

Use the side wall for storage

Shelving is turned against the left wall below the entry. Measure the depth of your unit and the access it needs. If the reading chair makes the room feel crowded, remove it in an alternate layout and compare the two plans.
