Separate work from sleep
The bed occupies the right side while the desk uses the upper-left corner. The entry is between them. This gives each large piece its own zone without placing the desk directly against the bed.

A guest needs access to the bed and storage; a working day needs chair movement and a usable desk. Create an alternate arrangement for each use. Compare the plans at the same scale instead of relying on how spacious a zoomed-out view feels.
The example window is on the lower wall. Replace its position and width, then add the real door swing before resizing furniture. Radiators, sockets, skirting, vertical clearances and construction requirements need separate checks on site.
